ISACA Mumbai Chapter is ranked as one of the world’s
best largest chapter in 2006 and has consistently been the 7th Largest
Chapter. It is also the most active chapter. The chapter has received
several awards in the past towards its continuous achievements and some
of the members have received global recognition from ISACA
International. Some of the chapter awards are – Best Newsletter, Best
Website, Highest Growth, Best Chapter in Asia, etc and culminating in
the award of being the Best Chapter in the WORLD in the year 2006 from
ISACA International.
All its activities are in line with ISACA’s vision
of “TO BE RECOGNIZED AS THE GLOBAL LEADER IN IT GOVERNANCE,
ASSURANCE AND CONTROL”.
In order to help the chapter to increase its current level of
activities in the interest of the members, it has reviewed its
activities and decided to be guided by certain key principles in
carrying out its activities: EDUCATE – ENRICH - EXCEL.

EDUCATE |
The Chapter has its mainstay activities of EDUCATING its members
achieve the coveted certifications of ISACA – namely CISA, CISM
and the newly formed CGEIT through running its Review Classes in
line with the members expectations of passing these exams. |

ENRICH |
The Chapter also helps members to achieve and maintain their
Certification through Multifaceted activities like Chapter
Meetings, Programs, Seminars, Conferences, Workshops that are
mentally stimulating, professionally ENRICHING and satisfying,
in addition to help them earn valuable CPE credits. |

EXCEL |
The Chapter hopes to be a Centre of EXCELLENCE, in carrying out
its activities to the satisfaction of its members. |
The Chapter hopes to achieve its above aims and objectives through
the process of REVOLVE – INVOLVE - EVOLVE
|
REVOLVE |
All the Chapter’s activities to REVOLVE and be focused around
the domains of ASSURANCE (CISA), SECURITY (CISM) and GOVERNANCE
(CGEIT) , in line with ISACA Objectives. |

INVOLVE |
INVOLVE and mobilize all its members.
The Freshers, Youngsters and the Newly
qualified members as Trainees and / or Volunteers in order
to help them in their Learning Process
Practicing Members as Employers and
Trainers of its new members
The Senior professionals as Mentors
and Counselors – to enable them to Share their rich
experience with the youngsters and the newer members.

EVOLVE |
The Chapter hopes to EVOLVE into a LEARNING
ORGANIZATION and as
mentioned earlier into a CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE, through the above
activities. |
In order to allow the Chapter to carry out its activities and also
enable the chapter to expand its current level of activities, the
Chapter is actively looking at INVOLVING its members in the different
committees and the various activities that it carries out.

The volunteers in any organization are a special group of people
willing to give their time and energy to promote a cause for the
betterment of the whole. As stated by Lynn Lawton, 2007-2008
International President: “Volunteer time is both engine
and fuel for our organizations….”
As the saying goes: Today’s Currency is Time and not Money
Please consider making an important contribution to the achievement
of ISACA MUMBAI CHAPTER, by offering your time and expertise to act as a
Volunteer in your chosen field of expertise.
