ISACA Mumbai Chapter actively supported the CYBER SAFETY WEEK (CSW), an initiative undertaken by Mumbai Police, jointly with NASSCOM and DSCI and further ably supported by various other Sister Professional Bodies during the period 24th to 28th May, 2010
ISACA Mumbai Chapter had arranged CSO & Senior Police meet on 26th May 2010 at BKC Cyber Police station at Bandra (E) from 6.15 pm onwards as a part of CSW.
The prime purpose of this CSW meet was to spread awareness for cyber safety & IT security among individuals and professionals like us and other clusters of society including various corporate. It is an equal opportunity to be educated and get new ideas thro these events and road shows planned throught this entire one week
2. The event with the topic “Policing and Auditing of cybercrime issues” was well attended by over 70 participants from ISACA chapter members as well as Police personnel and other invitees. It was addressed first by President ISACA Mumbai, Shri Anand Shenoy and then the ball was set rolling in by Mr. Kanwal Mookhey by his lecture on “Emerging Cyber Threats”. Thereafter, the panel discussion was initiated and moderated by Mr Hanuman Tripathi, MD & CEO, Infrasoft Technologies P Ltd. Mumbai with panel members from Corporate & Industry as Chief Security officers ( CSO ) and various Senior Police Heads. The Panel members were as under : 3 Senior Officers from Police - Mr Naval Bajaj (IPS), Addl CP (Protection) - Mr Brijesh Singh (IPS), Dy. CP (Zone VIII) - Mr Nisar Tamboli, Dy. CP (Crime) 3 CSO from Corporate - Mr Hitesh Mulani, Yes Bank - Mr Sunil Dhaka, ICICI Bank - Mr Madhav Kulkarni, Reliance Communications During the panel discussion, the present scenario in the country and outside were discussed with expert moderation done by Mr Hanuman Tripathi by framing good and appropriate questions to all panel members. The program was ended at 8.30 pm with a summarization by Mr Hanuman Tripathi, Moderator and thereafter a vote of thanks extended by Pramod Nayak, Secretary, ISACA Mumbai Chapter with presentation of mementos to all panel members. The event was well appreciated by all. |
