ISACA MUMBAI CHAPTER, successfully collaborated with MICROSOFT in helping them to come out with the 2010 edition of MICROSOFT PLATFORM SECURITY AND AUDIT HANDBOOK 2010
Mr. Nandamohan Shenoy, Vice President of ISACA Mumbai Chapter, lead and collaborated in this effort on behalf of the Chapter
This handbook is an attempt to help the auditor and security community with possible internal technical controls which may be implemented with the latest Microsoft technology platform deployment
The book was finally released across three cities in India as per the following schedule :
o On 25th May 2010 in Cochin at Hotel LeMeridian , where Mr A Balakrishnan ,CEO of Geojit Technologies Ltd, presided over the function attended by about 50 delegates.
o On 3rd June 2010, in Mumbai at Hotel Intercontinental The Lalit , where Mr Sudesh Puthran, CISO of CIBIL presided over the function attended by about 110 delegates.
o On 5th June 2010, in Hyderabad at Hotel Taj Deccan where Mr Vijaykumar, CISO of Genpact, presided over the function attended by about 80 delegates
During the launch functions, each participant was given the printed Handbook copies. There was a release function followed by a presentation on the subject matter by the author of the Handbook – Mr. Nandamohan Shenoy
A softcopy of the Handbook is also being compiled for release and distribution to all the ISACA Members and the same will be put up on the ISACA Mumbai Chapter Website for download by the Members |
