Topic & Contents: “ Cloud Computing Security”
We have come a long way from the early days of cloud computing, when there was a lot of skepticism about the concept.
We have now started looking at cloud computing seriously for “Business Benefits with Security, Governance and Assurance Perspectives” as described by ISACA.
ISACA itself joined Cloud Security Alliance to “Promote Security Best Practices for Cloud Computing” in May 2009.

Following is the agenda for presentation:

1. Understanding Cloud Computing models

- Basic definition of Cloud as given by NIST and various dimensions of cloud computing, the 5 essential cloud characteristics, 3 cloud service models and the 4 deployment models with practical examples to help appreciate the advantages and disadvantages of each model.

- Cloud Computing Security Advantages

- Cloud Computing Security Challenges

- Security Guidance for Critical Areas of Focus

3. Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) offered by Cloud Security Alliance.

Speaker & Profile: Mr. Avinash W. Kadam
Mr. Kadam is a leading authority on Information security in India as well as globally and is the Chief Knowledge resource at MIEL with four decades of experience in Information Technology Management, Information Systems auditing and Information Security consulting and teaching. He is responsible for Education Services Division of MIEL.
Mr. Kadam is one of the founding members of ISACA Mumbai Chapter. Currently he is a member of ISACA International’s Education and Dissemination Committee. He has served as Vice President of ISACA International Board for two years from 2006 to 2008. He was President of ISACA Mumbai Chapter from 1998-2000. He is the recipient of ISACA’s Harold Weiss Award for 2005, “Given to Recognize Dedication to the IS Audit, Control and Security Profession”.
Mr. Kadam is a lead instructor / certified trainer for various courses like CISSP, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, BCMS, Cobit Foundation, ISMS Lead Auditor. Many of these courses have been designed by him. He frequently speaks at International Conferences. Some of these are ISACA’s Asia CACS in Dubai, Oman, Kyoto, MEITSEC in Dubai, World Conference on Disaster Management in Toronto, Infosecurity in London, IIA Conference in Dubai.
Mr. Kadam has a passion for teaching and learning which is evident from the string of certificates he has obtained and which he also teaches.

  3. Notification of withdrawal in writing / by email received 10 working days or more before the event will be processed for refund after deduction of 15% of the fees and applicable service taxes toward cancellation charges.
  4. No refund will be made for cancellation less than 10 working days of the event date.
  5. ISACA Mumbai Chapter reserves the right to reject any application without assigning reason.
  6. ISACA Mumbai Chapter reserves the right to change, alter, modify program for reasons that are beyond its control.
