Dear Member,
We are pleased to invite you to the Chapter Members Meeting as per details below.

Topic & Contents:“ Mobile Threats and OWASP Top 10 Mobile Risks”

Mobile apps often store sensitive data such as Banking and payment system details,
credit card numbers, or service passwords. Smartphones’ popularity and relatively lax
security have made them attractive targets for attackers. The number and sophistication
of attacks on mobile phones is increasing, and countermeasures are slow to catch up.

In this session, the focus will be on OWASP Top 10 mobile risks and prevention tips. OWASP
Top 10 Mobile Risk is a list of the most prevalent and dangerous risk areas in mobile application
development today. A Top 10 list is merely a start rather than a comprehensive set of risks
and compensating controls. Hackers’ exploitation of these most common mobile vulnerabilities
will be demonstrated in the session.

Our goal is to raise awareness about these problems, and help developers understand these
issues in order to reduce their prevalence and impact in real-world applications
