Terms and Conditions (Payment Gateway Integration)

1. Introduction

Welcome to ISACA Mumbai Chapter's digital platforms (Website and Mobile Application). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the payment services provided through the ICICI Bank Payment Gateway integrated into our platforms. By making payments on our platforms, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Definitions

  • "ISACA Mumbai Chapter" – Refers to the official regional chapter of ISACA operating from Mumbai, India.
  • "User" – Any individual or entity utilizing the Website/Mobile Application to register for events, membership renewals, or any other paid services.
  • "Payment Gateway" – The online payment facility integrated with ICICI Bank for secure transaction processing.
  • "Services" – Refers to event registrations, training sessions, certification courses, and any other offerings from ISACA Mumbai Chapter.

3. Scope of Services Covered

The payment gateway supports online transactions related to:

  • Chapter Membership Renewals
  • Registration for Events, Conferences, Workshops, Webinars
  • Certifications and Training Programs

4. Payment Methods Accepted

The Payment Gateway accepts:

  • Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)
  • Debit Cards
  • Net Banking (via major Indian banks)
  • UPI and Wallet Payments (subject to availability)

5. Security

  • Payments are processed securely via the ICICI Bank Payment Gateway using industry-standard SSL encryption.
  • ISACA Mumbai Chapter does not store any card details or sensitive payment information on its servers.

6. Confirmation of Payment

  • Upon successful transaction, users will receive a confirmation email and/or SMS containing transaction details.
  • Digital invoices can be downloaded from the user's profile or will be emailed within 24 hours.

7. Pricing and Taxes

  • All fees are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless otherwise stated.
  • ISACA Mumbai Chapter reserves the right to modify pricing at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • ISACA Mumbai Chapter shall not be held liable for any transaction failure due to technical issues on the part of the user, payment gateway, or bank.
  • Users are advised to retain transaction references and receipts for record-keeping.

9. User Responsibility

  • Users must ensure accurate input of all required details (e.g., name, email, purpose of payment).
  • Any misrepresentation or unauthorized use of payment services may lead to access denial and possible legal action.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
